OUR TEAM
Our executive team is chosen through an application process completed in late March. We have nine positions: President, Vice President, Director of Communications, Director of Finance, Co-Director's of Marketing, Director of Organizational Development, and Director of Recruitment. Our 2025-2026 team is as follows:
President

Meet our UNI SHRM President, Gracie Vest! Gracie is a Senior at UNI, majoring in Business Administration, and minoring in Psychology, and is obtaining the I/O psychology certificate.
Her favorite aspect of SHRM is having the opportunity to network with other students and professionals, and the ability to grow as a leader.
Gracie is also involved in Intramural Volleyball at UNI.

A fun fact about Gracie is she is the middle child out of five kids.

Meet our UNI SHRM Vice President, Reagan Livingston! Reagan is a Senior at UNI, majoring in Human Resource Management and Finance.
One of her favorite things about SHRM is making new friends who also share an interest in Human Resources.
Reagan is also on the Cheerleading team at UNI.
An interesting fact about Reagan is she was born in the same hospital as Joe Burrow.

Director of Communications

Meet our UNI SHRM Director of Communication, Abigaile Paper! Abigaile is a Senior at UNI majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice, minoring in Mental Health, and obtaining the I/O Psychology Certificate.
Her favorite thing about SHRM is how welcoming the group is, and learning tons of new information about Human Resources.
Abigaile is also a Student Supervisor at the UNI Athletic Ticket Office.
An interesting fact about Abigaile is she climbed Mt. Sniktau this summer, which is 13,239 feet!
Co-Director of Marketing

Meet our UNI SHRM Co-Director of Marketing, Emily Rodriguez! She is a Junior at UNI majoring in Human Resource Management, with a minor in Organizational Leadership, and obtaining the I/O Psychology Certificate.

Her favorite thing about SHRM is learning about all the different experiences HR professionals have had in their career and connecting with other students.
​
An interesting fact about Emily is last year she read 50 books, and plans to read 70 this year.

Meet our UNI SHRM Co-Director of Marketing, Hayley Olson! Hayley is a Senior at UNI majoring in Human Resource Management and Marketing, and obtaining the I/O Psychology Certificate.

Her favorite thing about SHRM is learning new information about Human Resources from the guest speakers, and making new friends through SHRM.
​
Hayley is also involved in Women in Business and Wilson Business Student Ambassadors.
​
An interesting fact about Hayley is that she slammed her pinky in a door when she was little, and now one pinky is shorter than the other.
Director of Organizational Development

Meet our UNI SHRM Director of Organizational Development, Jacelyn Rustad! Jacelyn is a Senior at UNI with a major in Business Administration.

Her favorite thing about SHRM is getting to show others the importance of Human Resources in a fun, encouraging, and caring environment.
​
Jacelyn is also involved in Women in Business.
​
A fun fact about Jacelyn is she was a transfer student last year and just got involved in SHRM last Spring.

Director of Recruitment

Meet our UNI SHRM Director of Recruiting, Lauren Osborn! Lauren is a Senior at UNI majoring in Human Resource Management, with a minor in Organizational Leadership, and obtaining the I/O Psychology certificate.
​
Her favorite thing about SHRM is getting to connect with students from all kinds of majors and class years.
​
Lauren is also involved in Salt Company and Intramurals.
​
An interesting fact about Lauren is she has a twin brother, and spent last summer in Kenya as a missionary.
UNI SHRM Advisor

Meet our UNI SHRM advisor, Emily Obermeier! Emily has earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a UNI Wilson College of Business alumni, having graduated with a major in Marketing, emphasis in Sales and Advertising. Prior to UNI, Emily received her AA from Ellsworth Community College.
She spent 7 years as a general counsel of a $2B+ international capital equipment manufacturing conglomerate, with locations in more than 8 countries throughout the world. She also worked in governance for a community bank which backs fintech, and now has a private practice serving corporate clients.

Emily's favorite part about advising UNI SHRM is the opportunity to work alongside future leaders. A few fun facts about Emily: she plays flute and piano, can sew and crochet, has participated in community theater, and enjoys gardening, both flowers and vegetables.
